São Vicente: Dimaz Athletics School to hold third edition of “São Silvestrinha”

Mindelo, 18 December (Inforpress) – The Dimaz Athletics School (EAD) will hold the third edition of the “São Silvestrinha” athletics race on 30 December in São Vicente, aimed at children aged five to 18.

The school’s director, Ary Dimas, told Inforpress that the initiative seeks to encourage children and adolescents from peripheral neighbourhoods, social associations and primary and secondary schools to engage in physical activity, while also identifying new talent.

Registration is free and can be completed on the day of the event. Participants are due to gather at 08:30 on Rua de Lisboa.

The programme includes an initial race from Laginha to Rua de Lisboa for participants aged 14 to 18, followed by races for younger age categories, also held on Rua de Lisboa.
