Consultant Says Professional Image and Conduct Are ‘Essential’ in Today’s Job Market

Praia City, Nov 11 (Inforpress) – Image consultant Mónica Cunha stated today that professional conduct and personal presentation are “fundamental” in today’s job market, factors she says are as crucial as qualifications and technical skills.

Speaking to Inforpress, Mónica Cunha — an Image and Professional Conduct Consultant who has delivered lectures at institutions on Santiago Island — argued that in an increasingly diverse job market, qualifications, résumés and technical know-how “are not enough”.

Instead, she said, aligning these elements with professional conduct, image, and especially with the company culture, is what distinguishes a successful candidate or professional.

“The way a professional presents and conducts themselves sends a powerful message about their competence, confidence and fit with the company’s culture. These non-verbal elements have a direct impact on career opportunities and professional progress,” she stressed.
