Mayor of City Council of Maio Ensures that the Activity Plan Is Being Implemented

Porto Inglês, 21 Nov (Inforpress) – The Mayor of City Council of Maio, Valdino Rely Brito, today refuted the opposition’s (MpD) criticisms regarding the alleged non-compliance with the 2025 activity plan, assuring that the municipality has been implementing it.

In statements to the press, the mayor regretted the remarks by the Movement for Democracy (MpD), which accuses the council of not fulfilling “even 1% of the plan”, stressing that the fact that the institution is functioning daily “already exceeds that percentage”.

“The plan is being executed. The council operates every day, but we do not work for ‘marketing’, because we believe that State resources exist to serve the municipality,” said Rely Brito.

The mayor added that the assessment of management instruments must be carried out “at the proper time”, accusing the opposition of not being prepared for politics and of seeking to mislead public opinion.
