Fogo: São Filipe and Pawtucket assess prospects for signing friendship and cooperation protocol

Praia, 03 Nov (Inforpress) – The Director of the Judicial Police (PJ), Manuel da Lomba, today called for greater internal cooperation between the agents and agencies working to safeguard Cabo Verde.

He was speaking at the opening of training on maritime and customs security, promoted by the PJ in partnership with French Cooperation.

He said that Cabo Verde currently faces international challenges and threats that require a joint and coordinated response by the various national institutions and external partners.

“This is very important training for Cabo Verde, training in maritime security, strengthening maritime and customs security. And this is crucial for Cabo Verde to prevent threats that could compromise our internal security,” he stressed.
