Weather: Tropical wave may affect weather conditions in the coming days – INMG

Cidade da Praia, 1 September (Inforpress) - The National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INMG) today warned of the passage of a weak tropical wave moving south of Cabo Verde, which could affect the weather in the coming days.

According to INMG data, the tropical wave forecast for 2 to 4 September is expected to affect weather conditions, with the possibility of drizzle and/or light rain in the archipelago, which may be moderate, especially in the Leeward Islands.

As for sea conditions, they are expected to worsen slightly in the south of the archipelago and in coastal areas, with waves from the south reaching heights of 1.5 to 3.0 metres
