São Vicente: BCN aims to become the ‘best commercial bank’ in the country - president

Mindelo, Jun 11 (Inforpress) - The chairman of the executive board of Banco Cabo-verdiano de Negócios (BCN) said Tuesday in Mindelo that the company's entire corporate team is working to position itself as the ‘best commercial bank’ in Cabo Verde.

Luís Vasconcelos stated this today at a press conference to present the financial and operational results for 2024.

In a year in which, due to all the business dynamics, they were officially recognised by Banco de Cabo Verde (BCV), the central bank, as the third most systemically important bank in the country and were also awarded the prize for Best Cape Verdean Bank by the international institution International Bankers.

Two distinctions that, according to the same source, converge and give hope for the goal of becoming the ‘best commercial bank’ in Cabo Verde.
