Planalto Norte hosts the second edition of the mountain festival from 18 to 20 July

Porto Novo, Jun 10 (Inforpress) - The Planalto Norte, in the municipality of Porto Novo, Santo Antão, will host the second edition of the mountain festival from 18 to 20 July, with a focus on promoting local products and gastronomy.The initiative is from the Associação Luz Verde do Norte, which reported that the mountain festival aims, above all, to make people aware of the potential of the Planalto Norte, but also to raise awareness of the challenges that this part of the municipal territory faces.

Maduino Lima, the president of Associação Luz Verde do Norte, explained to Inforpress that one of the highlights of this event will be the holding of a fair of local products, such as cheese, liqueurs and sweets, all produced locally.

In addition, there will be cultural and sporting activities and a health fair.
