Nova Sintra, Apr 29 (Inforpress) - The Biflores Association's terrestrial conservation technician, Carlos Bango, said today that his participation in the fifth Mediterranean Plant Conservation Week, held in Limassol (Cyprus), involving the exchange of experiences from various countries, was ‘enriching’.
Carlos Bango emphasised that the meeting was held from the 6th to the 11th of this month and said that it was an essential event for debate and action on the preservation of the ecosystem's biodiversity.
The activity is promoted in different countries every two years.
‘During the event there were more than a hundred presentations on various topics and our group also took on the topic of plant and habitat conservation, through an approach to combating invasive species, where we shared our experiences,’ he said.
