Achada Igreja, Apr 7 (Inforpress) - The Municipality of São Salvador do Mundo (Santiago) plans to create more than 100 jobs with the plan to clean and maintenance municipal roads, which has been underway since the beginning of April.
The information was given to Inforpress today by José Miguel Teixeira, Salvadoran councillor for Urban Planning and Sanitation, who highlighted the involvement of the residents of the benefited communities, who will have an extra income, and the fact that around 40 per cent (%) of the women are on the work fronts.
‘This strategic and highly relevant project for our municipality aims to guarantee the preservation of our roads and, consequently, improve traffic conditions in the various localities of the municipality,’ explained the mayor.
José Miguel Teixeira added that the work, which was due to be carried out after the rains, will make it possible to clear the roads and leave them clean and without “'holes”'.
