Fogo: Secretary of State of Tourism consults tourism operators to better understand the sector’s challenge

São Filipe, 30 September (Inforpress) – The Secretary of State of Tourism is continuing his visit to the island today to consult with tour operators and identify the challenges and constraints affecting the sector’s development.

José Pimenta Lima has scheduled meetings for today with the mayors of Santa Catarina do Fogo and Mosteiros to discuss issues relating to tourism and the specific challenges facing each municipality.

The programme also includes a meeting with tour operators from Santa Catarina and Mosteiros, aimed at listening to the challenges faced by the sector and gathering input on the needs and opportunities for boosting tourism in those municipalities.
