Emilita Leger takes over as chair of the board of directors at Águas de Santiago

Praia, 29 September (Inforpress) – Emilita Leger is the new chair of the board of directors of Águas de Santiago (AdS), having been elected at the General Meeting held on 14 September in Assomada, succeeding Eurídice Costa.

The new leadership takes office with immediate effect, replacing the previous president.

According to information published on AdS’s official Facebook page and accessed by Inforpress, the General Meeting was attended by the company’s shareholders, as well as representatives from the local councils on the island of Santiago and the Government.

During the meeting, the company’s new management board was sworn in; currently composed of Emilita Leger as chair, executive directors João Alberto Barros and Nivana Vieira, and alternate non-executive director José Eduardo Tavares.
