Author donates her book *Educating during the pandemic* to the Museum of Education to preserve its history

Praia, 28 September (Inforpress) – Today, the writer Neusa Lopes donated the book “Educating during the pandemic: the traditional classroom versus the virtual space” to the Museum of Education to preserve the history of education during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking to Inforpress, the writer explained that she had decided to donate the work to the Museum of Education because she believed the institution preserves part of the history of education in Cabo Verde and serves as a place for safeguarding the country’s educational heritage.

“It is an offer to enrich this museum’s collection regarding a global historical event: the COVID-19 pandemic,” stated Neusa Lopes.

She added that the pandemic period altered psychosocial and emotional behaviors and forced society to adapt to new ways of living, communicating, and learning.
