Beijing, September 4 (Inforpress) – The China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) today opened the second edition of its 2026 exchange program for journalists from developing countries at Renmin University of China.

At the opening ceremony of the event, which brings together more than a hundred participants, the director of the CIPCC, Yu Lei, highlighted that the initiative was created to respond to requests from developing countries, providing journalists with the opportunity to learn about China through direct experience and produce more comprehensive and objective reports.

“We created this Media Exchange Center to invite more journalists from developing countries to come to China, giving them the opportunity to learn and explore for themselves, with their own eyes and ears, to see what is happening here in China and give a more complete and objective perspective to their countries,” said Yu Lei.

According to the official, the main objective of the program is to promote practical cooperation between China and developing countries in the media sector, allowing participants to learn about different aspects of Chinese development.
