Mindelo hosts the 5th Cabo Verde Bodybuilding and Fitness Cup with 29 athletes from seven sports regions

Praia, August 26 (Inforpress) - The city of Mindelo, on the island of São Vicente, will host the 5th Cabo Verde Bodybuilding and Fitness Cup next Saturday, the 29th, an initiative of the Cape Verdean Weightlifting Federation (FECAH), with 29 athletes registered.

According to data released by the organization, the athletes represent seven sporting regions of the country, namely São Vicente, Santiago Sul, Sal, São Nicolau, Boa Vista, Santiago Norte and Santo Antão.

The island of São Vicente has the highest number of registered participants, with 15 athletes, followed by Santiago Sul, with four, Sal, with three, São Nicolau and Boa Vista, with two each, and Santiago Norte and Santo Antão, with one athlete each.

The distribution of entrants by category includes one athlete in Men's Bodybuilding, Men's Classic Physique, Men's Physique, Women's Bikini, and Women's Wellness.
