Praia hosts a presentation on Catholic Moral and Religious Education in Cape Verde

Praia, 24 August (Inforpress) – The book *Catholic Moral and Religious Education and Theological-Pastoral Pedagogy: Foundations, History and Perspectives*, by Professor Florenço Varela, will be presented to the public on 8 September in Praia, as part of International Literacy Day.

According to information obtained by Inforpress, this is a groundbreaking work dedicated to systematizing the foundations, history, and perspectives of Catholic Moral and Religious Education in Cabo Verde, retracing the path that led to the implementation of the subject in Cape Verdean schools.

The same source emphasized that this study aims to address educational, pedagogical, and training challenges.

The presentation follows the national training for teachers of Catholic Moral and Religious Education, which will take place on September 7th and 8th in Praia, and is expected to bring together teachers from different municipalities and islands, as well as other stakeholders involved in the implementation and development of the subject in the country.
