Porto Novo: Residents of the Plaanlto Norte  complain about the poor quality of the water from the Martiene spring

Porto Novo, August 19 (Inforpress) – Residents of Planalto Norte, Porto Novo, Santo Antão, complained today about the poor quality of the water being consumed in this locality, which comes from the Escravoeirinhos spring, near the Martiene valley.

The spokesperson for the population, Fidel Neves, explained to Inforpress that the water reaching the reservoir in Morro de Vaca, originating from the Escravoeirinhos spring, has been unfit for consumption.

He therefore drew the attention of the local authorities to the need to treat this water, which is consumed in the Planalto Norte region.

This resident reported that the population has been drawing attention to the poor quality of the water coming from the Escravoerinhos spring, asking those responsible to "treat this water for the sake of people's health."
