Porto Novo: Portuguese association organises a summer camp in the Planalto Norte

Porto Novo, 18 August (Inforpress) – Between Thursday 20 and Saturday 22, Planalto Norte, in the municipality of Porto Novo, will host a summer camp, an initiative organised by the Association for the Defence of Mértola’s Heritage (Portugal).

The summer camp is organised in collaboration with City Council of Porto Novo and aims to provide children and young people from the Northern Plateau with opportunities for learning, socialising and educational activities

The Association for the Defense of the Heritage of Mértola has been one of the main development partners of the Northern Plateau, where it promotes projects related to electricity and water supply.

This non-governmental organization, which has been active in the municipality of Porto Novo for over two decades, has also been developing projects related to sustainable agriculture and tourism in this municipality of Santo Antão.
