Fogo: Águabrava suggests “urgent investment of 30 million escudos” to solve supply problems in Norte Cima

São Filipe, July 3 (Inforpress) – Águabrava intends to invest around 30 million escudos in modernizing the water supply system in Norte Cima, an intervention considered essential to resolve the constraints affecting the supply to the populations of that region.

The chief executive of the Intermunicipal Water Company (Águabrava), Ulisses Andrade, speaking to Inforpress, described the investment in the Inhuco plant as “the top priority” for “permanently resolving” the water supply to the communities in the norte cima, emphasising that the current infrastructure no longer meets the needs arising from the expansion of the distribution network.

According to the administrator/delegate, the pump installed in Inhuco, with a capacity of five cubic meters per hour, was initially designed to supply that locality and the neighboring areas of Zambujeiro and Aleixo Gomes.
