Assomada: Zé Luís Solidário project supports Associação Acreditar with hygiene and food supplies

Assomada, May 28 (Inforpress) – The Zé Luís Solidário project today delivered a donation to Associação Acreditar, in Assomada, aimed at supporting children and young people with special needs.

The donation, worth around 50 thousand escudos, includes food, hygiene products, diapers, wipes, cleaning products and support for healthier nutrition for children assisted by the association, which marks four years of existence and two years of operation of its reception centre.

During the event, Zé Luís stressed that the initiative arose from the need to support institutions that work daily with special-needs children and vulnerable families.

According to Zé Luís, many families face difficulties in ensuring basic care, especially due to the high consumption of diapers and adequate nutrition required by these children.

He also took the opportunity to appeal to social associations across the country’s different islands and municipalities to contact the project in order to establish future partnerships and support initiatives.
