Praia, June 5 (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean Association of Persons with Disabilities (Adevic), through Lumiarte-Velas, launched today a workshop aimed at its female collaborators, with a view to promoting social inclusion and skills development.
The initiative focuses on a workshop on “Artisanal Soap Making, Natural Cosmetics and Aromatherapy”, organized in partnership with the company Auralis Essence.
According to Adevic’s president, Joana Almada, this is an opportunity to improve techniques, broaden practical knowledge and acquire tools that foster the economy based on natural and sustainable practices.
She stated that the activity focuses on entrepreneurship among women with disabilities so that they can develop their own businesses and differentiate their products.
