Praia, Feb 7 (Inforpress) – The head of Emprofac’s Commercial and Customer Management Department, Esmeraldo Gomes, told Inforpress Thursday that there is no mask break in Cabo Verde or in pharmacies, so it reassures the population about the matter.
Speaking to the Cabo Verdean Press Agency, Esmeraldo Gomes, guaranteed that the existing stock is sufficient for distribution to hospitals and pharmacies, saying there is only control in sales.
“We don’t have a break in protective masks in the country. Emprofac has sufficient stock, but as a precaution, in crisis situations, we control the sale”, he added. In the City of Praia, Inforpress found out after contacting some pharmacies that there has been an increase in demand and purchase in abnormal quantities of protective masks.
Pharmacies, according to their information, have received requests for information on how they can respond to customer demand, as, at the moment, everyone is concerned about the possibility of the virus reaching the archipelago.
