Praia, Mar 1 (Inforpress) – The principal of the Professional School of Technologies and Arts (EPTA) reported Saturday that the employability rate of young people completing vocational training in this establishment is around 92 percent (%), after a year.
Ana Reis was speaking to the press on the sidelines of the graduation ceremony of another stage of level 5 vocational training, for 153 young people, framed in the school’s fourth anniversary program, under the theme “Train to work”.
“We have a rate of around 92% after a year, because we have a monitoring system, so when they complete the course many of them stay, because we send them to the internship and many end up doing professional internship and we already count as being the first job”, she said.
On the other hand, she reported that a “large number” of graduates develop their own business, since all courses have valences allowing them to train in entrepreneurship and innovation, small business management, introduction to labour law and human resources management.
