Praia, Jan 24 (Inforpress) – The National Network of Campaign Education for All (RNCEPT) today starts a campaign under the slogan “More financing in education” and “100% of children in preschool” to celebrate the International Day of Education in Cape Verde.
The information was provided to Inforpress by the RNCEPT coordinator, Abrão Borges, who explained that the activities happens in various schools in the country, to raise awareness so that all children attend pre-school education and there exists a “greater inclusion” of children with disabilities in the normal education.
The national coordinator of RNCEPT considered that World Education Day is celebrated throughout the year, because they work to promote the role of education for peace and development, always throughout the year.
“For this year we have this campaign because we found that in previous years around 0.1% was financing for pre-school and then we are doing the study again to see to what extent pre-school is being valued in terms of its functioning”, he explained.
