Praia, Dec 3 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde will have a General Directorate of Communities, as announced in Praia the Minister Jorge Santos, who added that the responsible has already been appointed and “will take office in the coming days”, after being published in the Official Bulletin.
“We are working on connectivity, i.e. construction the community portal, within the framework of the digital governance system,” said the Minister of Communities.
He informed to MPs that next year the OE-2022 includes 82 million escudos intended to support Cabo Verdeans in need at the Diaspora, which total 1270 pensioners. He explained that this amount is managed by the Ministry of Family, Inclusion and Social Development.
According to Jorge Santos, at this time, the process for preparing the Strategic Plan of the Cabo Verdean Diaspora is in the process of being developed, which will have the participation of external consultants and financed by the United Nations System and the International Emigration Organization.
