Praia City, Oct 23 (Inforpress) – The government said in a statement that the result of the autopsy performed on Tuesday on the body of the deputy minister, Julio Herbert, concluded that the cause of death resulted from an “acute myocardial infarction”.

Julio Herbert was found dead in his office on Monday afternoon at the Government Palace in Praia, and the body was moved to the morgue of Dr. Agostinho Neto Hospital, after the forensic examinations were completed.

According to the same statement, the funeral take place on Thursday, October 24, from 09:00 at the Government Palace, followed by the funeral mass in the parish of Nossa Senhora da Graça and ending at the Várzea cemetery.

Julio Herbert, who would turn 65 on November 16, was currently acting as Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister for Regional Integration.
