Dance: Manu Preto takes “Tabanca” to the celebrations of the 5th Centenary of Circum-Navigation in Seville

Praia, Sep 11 (Inforpress) – The dancer Manu Preto will represent Cabo Verde in the celebrations of the 5th Centenary of Circum-navigation of Fernão de Magalhães, in Seville, Spain, where he will present a performance related to Tabanca, in October 2 and 3.

The information was given to Inforpress by the Raiz di Polon group’s choreographer, who next week travels to the capital of the Andalusian region, in southern Spain, at the invitation of the City Hall of Praia, in a partnership with the International Center for Theater Research, that promotes this initiative.

“Mundo Magallanes – Elcano” is a project from the International Center for Theater Research in Seville which was born on the occasion of the celebrations of the 5th Centenary of the Circum-Navigation of Fernão de Magalhães and is based on theatrical research and community theater.

According to information published on the organization’s website, in this celebration, which takes place in October 2 and 3, it is intended to involve all the countries that have Magalhães cities so that, both through the performing arts professionals and their citizens, they have a presence in a global project.
