CV Color Fest 2017 travels to six islands with awareness message for the protecting of turtles

Mindelo, Aprirl 4  (Inforpresss) – The “CV Color Fest” takes place this year during July in six islands of the archipelago and brings as a novelty the introduction of the social responsibility concept in this third edition for the protection of sea turtles .

The information was advanced to Inforpress by the person in charge for communication  in the DEventos, the company that organizes the festival this year, Chedy Rodrigues who said that in addition to Sao Vicente, Sal and Santiago, the festival will be extended to the islands of Boa Vista, Sao Nicolau and Fogo.

It is a festival held annually in Cabo Verde, inspired by the Holi concept, imported from India, which is supported by Hinduism and the celebration of the transition from winter to spring.

According to Chedy Rodrigues, from this third edition every year the festival will focus on a social awareness campaign for the environment, taking into account the concept of Holi, Indian ritual that gave rise to the festival of colors in the world, and who defends the victory of good against evil.
