At the inauguration, the director of the National Center for Art, Crafts and Design (CNAD), Irlando Ferreira, showed that the exhibition and the brand represent the achievement of a “very great” challenge, because working from São Vicente to Brava, through digital means, “is completely different” than when working in person. As he pointed out, since 2018, when the project began, they were already aware that it would be a challenge, but the motivation of the creatives, both designers and the hand-embroidered made by women, made the CNAD and everyone involved bet everything was possible so that the project could get to what it is today. COVID-19: The cumulative incidence rate in 1965 per 100.000 inhabitants nationwide

Praia, Jan 18 (Inforpress) – The cumulative incidence rate of COVID-19 nationwide is 1965 per 100.000 inhabitants, with all municipalities registering numbers higher than 150 per 100 inhabitants.

The information was provided this Tuesday by the National Director of Health, Jorge Noel Barreto, at the usual press conference on Mondays, to assess the pandemic situation in the country.

Also on the same occasion, Jorge Noel Barreto said that in the period from January 3 to 16 a total of 31.346 samples was analyzed, which gives a daily average of 2.200 samples analyzed, which allowed the identification of a total of 11.068 new cases of COVID-19 in Cabo Verde, representing an average of 791 cases per day and a possibility rate of 35.3%.

“In the previous 14 days, i.e., from December 20 to January 2, a total of 21.481 samples were analyzed, which gives us a daily average of 1.534 samples analyzed, we identified 4.562 new cases, an average of 326 new cases per day in this period, corresponding to a positivity rate of 21.2%,” he compared.
