COVID-19: National Directorate of Education sent guidelines the country’s schools to strengthen prevention measures

Praia, Jan 5 (Inforpress) – The National Directorate of Education has already sent guidelines to all schools to strengthen prevention measures against COVID-19 and calls for the support of students and teachers to vaccination of the additional dose against the disease.

The information was announced by the national director of Education, Eleonora Souza, who spoke to Inforpress about the precautions adopted for the resumption of classes, after the school holidays, to take place on January 6, at a time when cases of infection in Cabo Verde are increasing “significantly”.

“Indeed the classes of the second quarter will start on January 6, and we are aware of the increase in cases at national level, but also at international level and in this sense the National Directorate of Education has already sent guidelines to all education delegates to strengthen prevention measures against COVID-19 at school level”,  stated the director.

According to the same source, all measures should be strengthened, from the use of mask, social distancing and washing hands.
