Praia, Jun 7 (Inforpress) – The French ambassador to Cabo Verde today assured his country intends to continue to bring “concrete support” to Cabo Verdean people, in order to contribute to speed out the vaccination campaign in the archipelago.

“France, like other countries, has secured its contribution, especially through the European Union, in which it is among the main partners, especially under the Covax mechanism,” the diplomat said.

Speaking to Inforpress in Praia, Olivier Serot Almeras said the current  COVID-19 pandemic context worries the rulers from the two countries and their peoples, and France intends to continue to bring “concrete support” to Cabo Verdean people, as it has done on the African continent.
