São Filipe, Apr 23 (Inforpress) – The Atlantic Shipping company is working to seek a solution so that cargo from the United States of America, on the Agena ship, reaches the islands of Fogo and Brava as soon as possible.
The president of Atlantic Shipping, Victor de Pina, told Inforpress that it still does not know a solution and there is no indicative date for the ship, which is in the port of Praia, to travel to the islands of Fogo and Brava.
The arrival was scheduled for last Monday, 20th, first to the port of Vale dos Cavaleiros and then to Furna (Brava) to unload the 1.700 parcels coming from the United States of America to the two islands.
The delay in unloading and the return of the ship to the United States of America represent “huge losses”, but Victor de Pina said that the company is more focused on an immediate solution for the delivery of cargo, because he is aware that they are doing “serious shortage” to the recipients.
