COVID-19: COC marks Olympic Day with ‘lives’ involving Olympic athletes on digital platforms

Praia, Jun 24 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean Olympic Committee (COC) celebrates Tuesday, the Olympic Day with lives on internet involving Olympic athletes, after having dedicated the entire month to a campaign in their digital platforms, “United by the Olympic Spirit”.

To celebrate the date on which the International Olympic Committee (IOC) was founded, the Cabo Verdean Olympic Committee dedicates almost all day to ‘lives’ with Olympic athletes and members of Olympic clubs such as rhythmic gymnast Juliana Martins, Alfayaya Ferreira (Spain), Ruben Sança (USA) and Isménia Frederico (Cabo Verde).

These ‘lives’ arise after the COC dedicated the Olympic Month to a set of lectures online on its social networks and open to the general public, about Olympism, the various sports and reflections on the Olympic Movement in Cabo Verde.

“It would be like every year a very dynamic month with activities in all the islands of the country, involving volunteers from the Olympic Clubs, Federations and local authorities, under the theme “workout, learn and discover “, as recommended by the International Olympic Committee”, explains the COC in a press release referring to the anniversary.
