COVID-19: City Hall of Santa Catarina creates areas for hand hygiene in public spaces

Assomada, May 28 (Inforpress) – The Municipality of Santa Catarina has created areas for hand hygiene in public spaces, namely in the municipal market and in the Assomada bus terminal in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, which causes COVID-19.

The information was forwarded to Inforpress today by the councilor of the Local Economy, Péricles Brito, indicating that at the moment two mobile toilets with water and soap are already installed, which operate on foot, one in front of the municipal market in Achada Riba and another one in the bus terminal of Assomada.

The same source also said that in this first phase, two additional mobile washbasins will be installed around the municipal market and another one at the bus terminal, so that marketers, drivers and users can clean their hands.

The mayor also said that the municipality is studying the possibility of installing two additional pieces of this equipment in other public spaces, especially in the main square of Assomada and Avenida da Liberdade.
