Covid-19: Cabo Verde does not register any positive cases for the second consecutive day

Praia, Mar 31 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde has not recorded, for the second consecutive day, any positive case of Covid-19, after another negative test on a suspected case, announced the National Director of Health.

In a press conference, this Monday to check the status of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in Cabo Verde, Artur Correia announced that there are four additional suspected cases of people being quarantined, two in Praia, one in Boa Vista and another one in Sal Island.

Artur Correia also said that the 800 11 12 line is already functioning with a psychologist support, with 19 professionals to help people who are quarantined in hotels, those who are being monitored at home and citizens in general.

In relation to the two positive cases in the city of Praia, the official guaranteed that they are “well” and evolving very “positively”.
