COVID-19/Brava: Civil Protection Service inspects bathing beaches to ensure safety and compliance with standards

Nova Sintra, May 29 (Inforpress) – The head of the Civil Protection Service of Brava, António Marcelino, said this Thursday that they will start the inspection of the island’s bathing beaches, in order to guarantee safety and monitor compliance with the rules prevention of the new coronavirus.

The same source said to Inforpress that the process will start this weekend, as a way of “providing support in case of any incident and also monitoring compliance with the rules and standards established for the control and prevention of COVID-19”.

According to António Marcelino, the island left the state of emergency, but the disease did not go away with it, and it is something that is being experienced every day, which makes it necessary to take some preventive measures in order to support and collaborate in the fighting against this pandemic.

Regarding the plans in progress during this pandemic, António Marcelino stressed that the team maintains its active plan, where they continue with the process of disinfecting cargo, controlling passengers and the necessary documentation for their travel, among other requirements that must be “inspected”.
