Praia, Aug 31 (Inforpress) – The Colmeia and ESECS renew, in September 7, the partnership agreement establishing forms of cooperation in the inclusion area and accessibility, with emphasis on collaboration for “appropriate responses” to people with disabilities.
“The renewal of the agreement includes, inter alia, the evaluation of appropriate responses to people with disabilities, guidance and support in the acquisition and use of computer equipment in the context of enhanced/alternative communication and provision of services to the community, namely translations, teaching and training services,” Isabel Maria Moniz told Inforpress.
Also according to the president of the Parents and Friends of Children and Young People with Special Needs Association (Colmeia), who is in Portugal to initial the agreement with the Higher School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS) of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Polytechnic of Leiria), the partnership will also cover consulting, audits and research and development work.
According to the Colmeia’s responsible, the agreement also provides for the holding of colloquia, seminars and other actions of the same nature, curricular, scientific and technical internships, and the exchange of technical and scientific information.
