CMP signs agreement with Luxembourg and Cabo Verde Chamber of Commerce to resume ties with diaspora

Praia, Jan 19 (Inforpress) – The City Hall of Praia (CMP) signed Tuesday an agreement with the Luxembourg and Cabo Verde Chamber of Commerce to resume ties with the diaspora and create business opportunities.

After the signing act, which took place in the City Hall, the Mayor of Praia, Francisco Carvalho, who redded the document, said that the signing of this partnership “goes beyond” the commercial area.

“The signing of this agreement goes out of business because it is a time to recover, strengthen and restart a set of ties with the Cabo Verdean diaspora,” Francisco Carvalho said, ensuring that the City Hall of Praia will continue to value the emigrants.

“This is a prospect of appreciation because Cabo Verde will continue to have a great debt to the Diaspora and Praia, as a capital city, has to set an example in order to absorb what our emigrants have to improve,” he noted. For Francisco Carvalho, this partnership will bring new business opportunities to the municipality of Praia and strengthen the ties of cooperation between Cabo Verde and Luxembourg.
