City Hall of Praia takes a positive assessment of the 28th edition of the Gamboa Festival

Praia, May 24 (Inforpress) – The mayor of Praia, Francisco Carvalho, made a positive assessment of the 28th edition of the Gamboa Festival, highlighting the “mass” presence of people and recognizing needs for improvement in some aspects.

“One first thing I want to stress is that we are all aware that we have seen a large presence. The population of Praia, and not only, was present in mass at the Gamboa Festival,” Francisco Carvalho said at a press conference.

The mayor also said it was important to stress that in terms of the environment and in terms of the feelings that people developed in relation to this festival was “extremely positive” and “of joy”.

“A very positive assessment was made, just as well things proceed normally, obviously due to the efforts of a huge group of people, institutions and employees,” he said.
