Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces plans to vaccinate all military by the end of the year

Praia, Sep 13 (Inforpress) – The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Anildo Fortes, announced today that the military Institution foresees, by the end of the year, vaccinate all military staff and about 80 elements are involved daily in the vaccination of populations.

Anildo Morais made these statements to the press, on the sidelines of the visit the Minister of State and Defense, Janine Lélis, made this Monday to vaccination stations in Praia.

For the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, the participation of the military in the vaccination process against COVID-19 demonstrates they are “ready for any mission” the State of Cabo Verde understands should indicate to the men and women of the AF.

According to Anildo Morais, with regard to the vaccination campaign in the barracks, they are on the “right way”, pointing out that at the level of the Command of the Second Region, in Sal, 99 percent (%) of the military are already vaccinated, while in the First Region, São Vicente, the percentage is 98% and in the Third Region, in Praia, this figure is 95%.
