Praia, Apr 14 (Inforpress) – The Portuguese Cultural Center promotes on13, 20 and 27 this month, in Praia, an environmental film cycle aiming to raise awareness of civil society to themes related to the green and blue economy and climate justice.
The event, held in partnership with 350 Cabo Verde, falls within the scope of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and has as one of the priorities the Climate Agenda and the European Ecological Pact.
Approached by the press, the head of the Portuguese Cultural Center (CCP), Andreia Mendes, explained that taking into account the environmental situation worldwide, this exhibition of films and documentaries related to this theme, aims to raise awareness of society, especially the public school, on this “important issue for now and for the future”.
On this first day, the CCP received students from high schools, Cesaltina Ramos Technical School, The Domingos Ramos High School and Pedro Gomes High School, and in the coming days it will be extended to the general public.
