Cape Verde with 22 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours

Praia, November 29, 2022 (Inforpress) – Cape Verde registered 22 more cases of covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours, out of 107 samples processed, corresponding to a positivity rate of 20.6%.

According to the epidemiological bulletin, the 22 new cases were registered in the municipalities of Praia (01), Santa Catarina (02), Ribeira Grande (06), Porto Novo (04), Boa Vista (08) and Maio (01).

The same source indicates that the 54 recovered people are from Praia (18), São Domingos (01), Santa Catarina (06), São Salvador do Mundo (04), São Miguel (01), Ribeira Grande (03), São Vicente (07), Sal (05) and Boa Vista (09).

 

With this update, the country now has 98 active cases, 62,426 recovered cases, 412 deaths, 46 deaths from other causes and nine transferred, making 62,991 accumulated positive cases.

As a way of mitigating the consequences of the covid-19 pandemic in Cape Verde, the Ministry of Health is calling on people to join the vaccination campaign, taking place across the country, so that everyone can be protected as soon as possible.
