CAN 2021: Vozinha, Marco Soares and Lisandro Semedo have joined the team in Yaoundé

Praia, Jan 11 (Inforpress) – Footballers Vozinha, Marco Soares and Lisandro Semedo and analyst Pedro Ramos, who were stranded in the archipelago, are already in Cameroon, where they joined the team on Sunday night after the victory over Ethiopia.

According to information announced by the Cabo Verdean Football Federation to Inforpress, these players were subjected to screening tests for COVID-19, so they continued their trip with negative results.

On Monday, central defender Ponck and striker Willis Furtado have been negative, so they are already scheduled to travel to Yaoundé on Wednesday, where the Cabo Verdean national team is met in the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations, CAN 2021.

The main coach, Pedro Brito “Bubista”, still according to the source, again tested positive to COVID-19, in the screening test, so he remains in Praia, waiting for the negative result, condition required to be able to travel.
