CAN 2021: National coach calls five new faces for friendly matches with Andorra and Guinea Conakry

Praia, Sep 28 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean football coach called five new faces to integrate the national team work for the two preparation games with Andorra and Guinea Conakry, to be played on October 7 and 10, respectively.

For these friendly matches in the framework of Cabo Verde’s preparation for the matches of the third and fourth qualifying round for CAN 2022, against Rwanda, the national coach Pedro “Bubista” Brito called 27 players, five of whom had not yet passing through the main football team, the Blue Sharks AA.

Defenders Dylan Tavares and Steve Furtado, midfielders Patrick Andrade and Willis Furtado and striker Willy Semedo are the new faces in the national team, thus making their first call for the national team. The return of Steven Fortes, a central defender, who was absent in the last calls due to injury is also noted.
