CAN 2021: CAF changes refereeing team for Cabo Verde – Cameroon game

Praia, Mar 26 (Inforpress) – The African Football Confederation (CAF) has changed the refereeing team will direct the Cabo Verde vs Cameroon game, nominating a senegalese team to lead Friday’s game to replace the Algerian quartet.

The match between these two teams is scheduled for this Friday, at 3:00PM, at the National Stadium in the City of Praia. According to a note from the Cabo Verdean Football Federation, CAF decided to modify Algeria’s refereeing team to a Senegalese team, led by El Hadji  Abdoul  Aziz  Gueye, assisted by Amadou Ngom and El Hadji El  hadj being  Amadou  Sy the fourth referee.

On March 30, Cabo Verde returns to the field sport, this time to play against Mozambique in Maputo.

In this Group F qualifying, the Cameroon team, already qualified as host country of CAN 2021, commands the group with ten points, followed by Rwanda with five. Mozambique and Cabo Verde have four points each.
