CAN 2021: Cabo Verde today plays to going to the quarter-finals of the competition

Praia, Jan 25 (Inforpress) – The national football team is playing against its Senegalese team today to going to the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2021), which takes place in Cameroon.

The game is fixed for 3PM at Kouekong Stadium in Bafoussam, and before the last training session, 14 players had gastroenteritis caused by food poisoning, according to the FCF.

Even so, adds the same source, the national choach Bubista had all the players, with the exception of goalkeeper Elber Évora, who still recovers from intoxication.

Cabo Verde qualified for the round of 16 of CAN 2021 as one of the top four third-placed teams in the six groups.
