Praia, Sep 23 (Inforpress) – The African Football Confederation (CAF) has appointed a Cabo Verdean women’s refereeing team for the Guinea Conakry-Sierra Leone game, Saturday, the 25th, in Senegal, for the World Cup qualifiers in women’s U-20 football.
The Cabo Verdean team will be headed by the main referee Ana Fernandes Lopes who will have Evandra Celina Lima as first assistant and Marisa Monteiro as second assistant.
According to the Cabo Verdean Football Federation, this is the first internationalization of referees Ana Fernanda Lopes and Marisa Monteiro, while Evandra Celina Lima already has international experience.
This is the first time a Cabo Verdean women’s refereeing team has participated in an African qualifier. The Guinea Conakry and Sierra Leone game takes place this Saturday in Senegal, home borrowed from Guinea.
