Praia, Sep 8 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean Coalition for the Rights of the Child (CCDC) participates in the 8th edition of the ‘International Advocacy Workshop’, an event takes place between the 9th and 11th, on online platforms.
According to a note sent to Inforpress, the workshop, which is promoted by the International Federation for Family Development in Spain, in collaboration with the Instituto de la Família at the Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia, proposes a critical analysis of the human rights situation at the international level, the development of advocacy, its institutions and key actors.
It will also explore how national, regional and global policy strategies are defined, as well as promoting a discussion on the various challenges that advocates for the family environment face with ‘takeholders’, including governments, international institutions and the private sector.
According to the secretary general of CCDC, Felisberto Moreira, this is a major conference that creates a training space for young people and a great opportunity for them to be able to exercise their influence with national and international public authorities.
