Praia, April 4 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean and Portuguese pharmacists will gather this Tuesday in Praia to reflect on the pharmaceutical at the service of citizens and public health and to publicize future initiatives in the scope of cooperation between these Countries.
The reflection takes place during the 1st Luso-Cabo-Verdiano Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Sector, sponsored by the Pharmacists Association of Cabo Verde and the Pharmacists Association of Portugal, aiming also to strengthen the ties between the two professional organizations, according to a press release.
The agenda of the event includes the debate on the theme “Integration of the Pharmacist in Health Systems” to be delivered by the Portuguese Pharmacists Association, Maria da Luz Leite, and the head of the Pharmacists Association of Portugal, Ana Paula Martins.
Other issues will be under discussion, such as “Pharmacovigilance – Regulatory Framework: Earnings Achieved / Challenges”, delivered by Infarmed Board Member Helder Mota Filipe and ARFA President Djamila Reis and “Clinical Analyzes – Pharmacists at the service of diagnosis,” presented by the president of the Northern Regional Section of the Pharmacists Asssociation of Portugal, Agostinho Franklim Marques.
