Praia, April 03 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde will create a group of auditors to better serve the expectations and challenges of food quality management in the country.
The information was provided by the Chairman of the Institute for Quality Management and Intellectual Property (IGQPI), Abraao Lopes, at the opening ceremony of the second stage of auditors training in ISO 22000.
This training aims to complete the training process with the aim of certifying national competencies, creating “a group of auditors duly trained and able to continue to provide their service with better quality,” explained Abraao Lopes.
Any company, hotel, restaurant certified in ISO 22000 must ensure safety to consumers, respect all rules, procedures, good practices for maintenance, development, marketing of food production,” he stressed.
The training course is given by the international certifier to AFNOR Middle East, recruited by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
