Cabo Verde will attend the 7th edition of the Africagua Fair in the Canary Islands

Praia, Nov 19 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde will attend the 7th edition of the Africagua Fair in the Canary Islands, an international business event focused on water and renewable energies, which will take place at the island of Forteventura, with a delegation headed by the Prime Minister.

Africaqua 2021 takes place from November 30 to December 1 and will be presented several projects developed in Cabo Verde and the Canary Islands, to discuss the results, gains and, above all, see how Cabo Verde can massify the “good experiences” achieved through pilot projects, in the search for solutions for the water and sanitation sector.

This guarantee was given to the press this afternoon by the Minister of Agriculture and Environment, during the presentation ceremony of the event held at the Delegation head office of the Government of the Canary Islands, in Plateau, where Gilberto Silva expressed his “great honor” because Cabo Verde is the guest country this year” for this forum which “has worked a lot on the theme of water in national contexts”

Silva praised the spirit of sharing technologies and knowledge in favor of the development of the water and sanitation sector in our countries, stressing that for Cabo Verde what will be discussed is of “extreme importance”, since meets Cabo Verde’s 2030 vision for sustainable development.
